The Highway 75 Detour Agreement (MnDOT Contract No. 1060777) is a cooperative agreement between the Minnesota Department of Transportation (MnDOT) and the City of Luverne. It outlines the terms for temporarily rerouting traffic from Trunk Highway 75 onto East Hatting Street and South Freeman Avenue during phase 3 of the Highway 75 Project construction project. MnDOT will handle all detour signage, maintenance, and traffic control, and will reimburse the City $725.21 for road life consumed, with a maximum obligation of $10,000 should the detour be in place longer than the 30 days anticipated. The agreement also releases MnDOT from restoring the detour route post-construction and includes provisions for audits, data practices, liability, and termination.
