Change Order No. 18 provides for the replacement of two existing clay sanitary sewer services located west of TH 75 on Main Street. One service serves the laundromat property, and the second serves the City-owned vacant lot at the southwest corner of Main Street and TH 75. The existing clay services will be replaced with new 6-inch PVC sanitary sewer services. Replacing these services at this time is a preventative measure that will reduce the likelihood of future failures and avoid the need to remove newly constructed pavement and concrete improvements to repair the services at a later date. The change order increases the contract amount by $10,350.92.
