AN ORDINANCE AUTHORIZING CONVEYANCE OF REAL ESTATE (LOTS 1, 2, AND 3 REISCH ADDITION, CITY OF LUVERNE, ROCK COUNTY, MINNESOTA)

Southwest Minnesota Housing Partnership (SWMHP) has received Impact Fund awards to build three twin homes (totaling six units) on the three lots in the Reisch Addition. Impact Fund resources will be used to address both Value Gap and Affordability Gap challenges for these homes. Each twin home will feature three bedrooms, two bathrooms, a two-car garage, and single-level living with one shared wall. The attached floor plan illustrates the proposed layout; the main difference between Unit A and Unit B is the kitchen configuration, shown in the included photos. Per the Purchase Agreement, the property will be transferred for $1, with a closing date on or before December 31, 2025. Construction must begin within twelve months of closing. SWMHP expects to seek bids early in 2026 and begin construction in spring 2026. SWMHP will oversee both the construction and sale of the homes. With this being an ordinance, a roll call vote would be in order.
