PROPOSED RESOLUTION APPROVING THE PROPOSED 2025 TAX LEVY COLLECTIBLE IN 2026 AND SETTING A PUBLIC HEARING

As per State Law, the City of Luverne will set its preliminary 2025 tax levy at this meeting; the levy can be lowered at a later date, but not increased. The City Council reviewed the proposed 2026 budget at the September 16 work session. By approving this resolution, the City Council is also setting the Truth in Taxation Hearing for December 16, 2025.
