The City of Luverne contracts with the Luverne Area Chamber for organizing and promoting community events such as Buffalo Days, Winterfest, and Hot Dog Nite, alongside marketing activities and public facility promotions. Annual service compensation will begin at $50,000 in 2025 and increase by 3% each year through 2029, paid in two semi-annual installments. The Chamber is required to submit event schedules annually to the City, with any changes or additions provided at least 60 days in advance. Street closures must be communicated with a minimum of 48 hours' notice to the City and the Rock County Sheriff’s Office.
