Change order no. 8 includes a variety of miscellaneous credits and one addition to the scope of work. The credits come from omitting the back flow preventer, omitting transfer ducts in certain rooms, and removing ADA concrete signage. Additional metal fabrications were needed for the added roof penetration duct framework for kitchen equipment. This results in a net increase of $1,150. Change order no. 9 is for a credit due to omitting fencing on the northeast side of the property. This results in a net decrease of $8,190. The GMP remains unchanged at $7,228,835 and contingency balance remains strong at $231,788.75 after these changes.
