Change orders 2, 3, 5 and 6 drawing revisions to AIA construction documents include the MN State Plumbing plan review comments, which altered some of the plumbing design. The drawing revisions also include modifications to the electrical fixtures in laundry room 146, due to existing conditions of the ceiling. Some other miscellaneous revisions are updates to the door hardware schedule, an added countertop in office 149, an added wall chase in infant 104, added grab bars in kids’ restroom 112, and added foot pull hardware to the casework. These changes result in an increase of $8,137.99 which will be deducted from the contingency balance. Drawing additions for a wireless ADA push button, brick infills due to existing masonry conditions, furring walls in restrooms 147 & 148, and wall guards at intersection of corridor 103 & loading dock corridor. This change order also includes deductions for removals of finishes in storage room 138. These changes result in a net increase of $15,071.78 which will be deducted from the contingency balance. Deductions for removal of finish changes in storage room 138, misc. electrical additions, and additional corner guards for columns in classrooms. These changes result in a net decrease of $1,251.92 in contract price. Drawing revision for additional concrete for a sidewalk revision that was made on site for the employee entrance. This results in an increase of $2,420.00. Change order number 4 was created, but rejected by Knutson.
Change order number 7 includes miscellaneous additions and deductions that did not affect the AIA construction documents. These changes include omitting acoustical spray foam, deduction for the gas line change of scope, omitting inertia bases, and additional gypsum assemblies and vapor barrier. These changes result in a net decrease of $13,215.00
