Construction Update
The remodel project has started! Knutson construction mobilized to the job site and set up temporary facilities. These temp facilities include job site trailers, dumpsters, port-a-john, temp electrical/power, internet, & computer services inside trailer. The interior remodel project has started with selective demolition, wall cuts and removals, and saw cutting the floors to remove the concrete slab for underground plumbing and electrical runs. Mechanical and electrical trades were onsite starting with all their demolition as well. Plumbers began excavations inside the building for underground plumbing, and they began running their sanitary sewer lines and underground drains. Steel fabrication is in process off site, prepping all lintels, angle iron, structural steel, decking, and any other miscellaneous metals to be installed in the coming weeks. Exterior work is beginning with sidewalk and stoop excavation and preparing for excavation and removals for the playground areas.
Kids Rock! Nonprofit Board
The Board is advertising for the Executive Director position and will begin interviewing in the near future. The board is working on benefits, handbooks, policies and procedures, and the licensing application.
