Phase 3B and 4 are the final two phases of the Luverne Loop project and are the final connections of the beautiful 7-mile biking and walking trail around the entire city. Phase 4 is about one mile in length and connects the trail from the Highway 75 Econo Lodge area to the Rock River/Luverne WWTP area. Phase 3B is .75 miles and connects the trail at the North end of the city (131st St & Bluemound Ave to the North Hwy 75 crossing) around the Manfred Heights and Sanford area. The total cost of this segment was $768,315.70, and 70 percent was paid for by Legacy grant dollars.
