COUNTY STATE AID HIGHWAY MAINTENANCE AGREEMENT

The City maintains all streets throughout the City, even though 6.36 miles are owned by Rock County. Before the City was designated as eligible for Municipal State Aid, the mileage was 8.95 miles. General maintenance covers sweeping, snow removal, patching, mowing and tree trimming in the right-of-ways, etc. The County reimburses the City for an annual not to exceed amount which has been adjusted for the new mileage amounts for the remainder of the contract.
