AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CITY CODE CHAPTER 57. EMERGENCY PROTECTION FIRE SERVICES, SECTION 57.05 RATES

An agreement was reached with neighboring townships to amend the fire service contract during the annual Fire Liaison meeting. The amendments would increase the fire call fee from $750 to $1,000. The fee is consistent with Minnesota Law and has not been changed since 2010. The townships contract with the City of Luverne Fire Department to provide rural fire services. With this being an ordinance, a roll-call vote would be in order.
